Benin Community

In October 2025, the Salesians officially started their mission in Evbuarhue, Edo State. This new phase was marked by the official handover of the Regina Mundi Catholic Church in St. Charles Luwanga and Companions’ Community by the Archbishop of Benin Archdiocese and the metropolitan of Benin Ecclesiastical Province, Most Rev. Dr Augustine Obiora Akubueze. This event brought to reality almost a two-decade plan to open a Salesian presence in the Heartbeat of the Nation. The Salesian presence in Evbuarhue in Edo State will offer Salesians the opportunity to plan Don Bosco charism in the State beginning from Evbuarhue.
