Turin, February, 2025
At midday in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians, Turin, Fr. Jorge Crisafulli SDB, Provincial of Africa Nigeria-Niger (ANN), presided over the Eucharist in honor of St. Joseph, as part of the General Chapter 29 (CG29) proceedings.
During his homily, Fr. Jorge reflected on the virtues of St. Joseph, offering profound lessons to guide the faithful:
Humility and Simplicity: Serve others selflessly, setting aside personal ambitions.
Obedience and Discernment: Listen to God’s will and act with courage.
Trust in Providence: Remain steadfast in faith, even amidst uncertainty.
Using the story of Noah and the Gospel account of the healing of the blind man, Fr. Jorge urged the congregation to seek clarity and renewal through the Holy Spirit. He called upon all to embrace transformation with hope and passion, entrusting their journey to Mary Help of Christians.
With faith and courage as their compass, Fr. Jorge encouraged the participants to forge ahead with confidence and devotion in their sacred mission.
